Cliff and Paula Lazar’s

Vacation to the

Kona Coast of Hawai’i

May 16 to 23, 2005

The Big Island, Hawaii is covered with golf courses.

If you don’t play golf, you better enjoy reading.

The entrance to our great hotel the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel.

The view from our patio.

The pool side bar.

The beach of the Mauna Kea, just up the coast from the Hapuna.

I had a tennis lesson here.  They had a lot of empty courts.

At the Fairmont, the protected green sea turtles spend the night on the beach

On the Kona Coast every night is a great sunset.

By coincidence were in Hawaii at the same time as Renee and Maurice Krieger.  Rene is Paula’s ex-husband’s cousin.

The Kona Coast has many square miles of very rough lava beds.

Here you see the developers developing right up to the lava.

The smooth trunk palms at the Hapuna.
